whats the interesting looking monopod or whatever it is the camera is on?
Tony Beck replied:
It's a shoulder support, often used for video as well as telephoto lenses. They're sometimes called a "gunstock"

A true winner on this one, Tony! Congrats on 1st place win in Photos of Photographers in Action, sponsored by Wisconsin Flowers and Scenery! You are now on our FEATURED ARTWORK PAGE! Great job, Tony! F/V
Tony Beck replied:
Thank You for holding the contest Randy. And, thanks for all your hard work. I also want to thank all who supported me. There's a lot of love here in "Fine Art America". But, I must save a very special "Thank You" for Nina who's charm lured the chickadee into this composition. She needs a lot of credit for making this image happen.

amazing capture - is there a story ?
Tony Beck replied:
Yes Deborah. There's a story. In fact, there's a story behind almost every image I take.

Thank You, Thank You Everyone! It helps to have cooperative subjects (like the tame chickadee and the beautiful Nina Stavlund)
